Description

This is our beautiful boy Ronnie who is three and it’s with a heavy heart we have to look for a forever home for him. Through no fault of his own we have had to make the decision to rehome him due to a change in our personal circumstances which will mean we are no longer able to spend as much time with him as what we currently do. He is absolutely fine with being left alone but with the extra travelling we will be doing due to relocating it’s adding on an additional 2.5-3 hours a day on top of what he is used to which is not fair on him at all. He’s such a loving, gentle beautiful boy who does sometimes forget the size he is and he loves nothing more than jumping up onto your lap. Due to this I would only be recommending older children, my youngest is 9 and she doesn’t like it when he sits on her she complains he’s heavy 🤦‍♀️ He’s fully toilet trained, he will jump up at the door to let you know he needs to go out or if you say “wee wee” he wil run to the door to be let out. He knows how to sit, give paw and high five. He’s currently on prescription food from pets at home due to suspected chicken allergies. We tried him with a more veg based grain free food but it didn’t agree with his toilet habits so we was advised to change his food to the one he is on and he’s been absolutely fine since. He has been absolutely fine with all the fireworks hasn’t even miffed at them however the vacuum cleaner is a completely different story. The hoover is his enemy and if you try to hoover while he is around he will bark at the hoover so we have to put him in a different room to hoover up. He’s gentle with other dogs but I personally feel he would be better off being the only dog in the household. He currently lives with a toy poodle who we are also having to look for a forever home for and Ronnie is more himself when he’s on his own than when our toy poodle is around however this being said, our toy poodle is a tiny bit a massive bundle of energy with a lot of love to give and he excessively licks ronnies face to the point it’s like he’s trying to climb into his mouth and Ronnie just sits there and takes it but can tell he’s fed up 🤦‍♀️ he might be okay to live with another dog it could just be the case that out toy poodle is to much for him. Ronnie is more a people person than a dog person he wants everyone to come and stroke him he’s an attention seeker. He’s a really big foodie too, no amount of food or water you give him will ever be good enough he would eat all day every day given the chance, when it’s raining you will find him trying to drink out of the puddles 🤦‍♀️ this is his bad habits lol Over all he’s the most loving amazing loyal dog and the amazing person that’s able to give him his forever home will be one of the luckiest people alive. It really breaks my heart to have to be in this position but we need to put Ronnies needs before ours or we would be horrible neglectful owners. He’s got a big heart and an awful lot of love to give, Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask,
