Meet Dotty, a delightful 3 year and 7 months old black and tan miniature dachshund. Dotty is a bundle of affection and energy who adores her daily walks, enjoys her time at daycare, and loves playing with other dogs. She’s happiest when she can curl up on your lap in the evenings after a day of activity.
Dotty is most suited to a quiet, child free home with very experienced dog owners and ideally ones familiar with the breed.
Dotty, like many dachshunds, has some issues with reactivity. She is particularly reactive with new visitors coming to the home. She has never been reactive with us (her owners) or with our close family and friends who she knows very well, but she is very fearful when new people who she doesn’t know come to the house. She can be aggressive in those situations and must be kept separate. She is also very reactive around children and cats and is only suitable for a child free and cat free home.
