Description
Meet Max – a loving and gentle 9-year-old male cat looking for a peaceful new home where he can feel safe, relaxed, and loved.
Max has been part of our family since he was a kitten. He’s always been an indoor cat and thrived in a quiet home with adults or older children. He loves curling up in warm spots, watching the world go by from a sunny window, and being near his favourite person. He’s affectionate, calm, and full of character.
Unfortunately, since my partner with young children moved in a few months ago, Max has become anxious with the noise and bustle, and no longer feels comfortable indoors. He’s currently choosing to stay outside, which is heartbreaking, as he was always equally happy living indoors with occasional outdoor ventures, with a much quieter routine.
I am looking for a calm, adult-only home (or one with older teens only) with no other pets and no young children. Max can be sensitive to being handled in certain ways and may nip if touched in the wrong way, so a gentle, understanding owner is essential. He would do wonderfully with someone retired or working from home who can offer him the space, routine, and love he truly deserves.
Max is neutered, healthy, and litter-trained. He would suit someone who understands cats and is looking for a quiet, low-fuss companion.
This decision has not been easy and is being made purely out of love and a desire for Max to have the happy life he once knew.
If you think you could offer Max a calm, loving forever home, please get in touch. A visit will be required to ensure the right fit.
I do not want payment for Max, just the right home, so please disregard the price of £50, I am just obligated to put that in when listing his case on this website.
Please note - the address is also incorrect on this listing due to a website glitch - when you message me I'll give you the exact door number in Burton Latimer.
