Our much-loved whiggy girl Pika is expecting her second litter of 7/8 Italian Greyhound, 1/8 Whippet puppies. We’ve carefully bred this mix to create elegant, healthy companions with classic IG features but more bone/resilience from the Whippet. The litter are due around 18/08/25 and Pika’s ultrasound scan indicates that she is expecting three, possibly four puppies.
Pika is a 3-year-old, blue and white 3/4 Italian Greyhound, 1/4 Whippet (whiggy). She’s confident, loving, and well-socialised with adults, children and other dogs. Bred and raised by us, we also own her mum, aunt, and grandmother. All of our girls are fit, healthy, and share her wonderful temperament. Pika and our other dogs are routinely wormed, vaccinated, and kept in excellent health. Pika is DNA health-tested (all clear) and I will be happy to share her full results of the screening with serious potential owners.
The sire to the litter is Denzel, a stunning KC-registered fawn Italian Greyhound with a lovely temperament. He is an excellent example of the breed and weighs around 5kg. His pedigree certificate will be shared with new owners, and photos of Denzel are included in the advert.
The puppies will be born and raised in our living room and socialised with our children (ages 10 and 11) and our other dogs. They’ll become familiar with the everyday sights and sounds of a busy family household. This litter is expected to mature between 6 and 8kg. Photos of previous litters and references from past owners are available on request.
We’ve bred six litters of whiggy puppies over the last 10 years and are proud to say we’ve enjoyed keeping in touch with all of the owners. We have also had multiple owners return to us for their second or third whiggy!
The puppies will be weaned onto Royal Canin Mini Starter, followed by Royal Canin Mini Puppy kibble. Each puppy will receive;

*Fortnightly worming with Panacur
*A 2kg bag of Royal Canin Mini Puppy food

Puppies will be ready to leave for their new homes from 8 weeks old. A 20% deposit will be required once both we and the new owners feel confident that it’s the right match for the puppy and their new family.
