Description
Springfield Doodles are pleased to announce that Layla has given birth to her 2nd litter of Standard Double Doodle puppies (labradoodle x parti goldendoodle) and Luna has given birth to her 1st litter of Double Doodles.
Layla's puppies will be able to go home from Sunday 14th September 2025 when they are 8 weeks old.
Luna's puppy will be able to go home from Saturday 20th September 2025.
Please be prepared to let us know a little bit about you and your family, why you would like a puppy and your experiences/ability to care for a dog. We like to do this (not just because we are nosey) but so we can make sure that our puppies all go to homes that are suitable and are lifelong homes.
This is Layla’s second litter of puppies with our stud dog Barrie. The photos in the advert are of the puppies. We have 1 x cream boy, 1 x golden boy and 1 x black boy.
This is Luna's first litter of puppies with Fred. She only had one puppy and he is a golden red with white patches on his chest.
At the moment, it is hard to say what their coats will be like but they should be similar to their parents. We can't guarantee they won't shed but should be low shedding.
Layla's puppies will grow to roughly 26 -28 inches to the shoulder.
Luna's puppy will grow roughly to 16 -18 inches to the shoulder.
Barrie is our 5 year old stud dog who is a Parti-Goldendoodle (cream/beige). He is roughly 26inches to the shoulder and has a fluffy, soft loose curl coat which has a slight molt. Barrie lives not far from our home with my sister and family.
Layla is our home bred 3 year old labradoodle. She has a thick, curly dark brown coat and doesn’t shed. She requires regular grooming to ensure that the coat doesn’t matt. She stands 26 inches to the shoulder and enjoys being in the middle of family life. She is vocal when she first meets you but then will enjoy a cuddle on the sofa/tummy rubs.
Luna is the smallest member of our pack. She is stands roughly 16 inches to the shoulder and has a loose curl to her coat, that gets tighter when her fur is wet. Whilst she is the smallest member, she enjoys being vocal and makes her self known. She loves cuddles on the sofa and curling up on your lap.
Both Luna and Layla enjoy walks in the park with their Dad and other members of the pack. They live in our purpose built dog house along with our other dogs - Willow, Ivy (Grandma to Luna's puppy), Maddie (Old English Sheepdog), Nugget and Ziggy (Sheepadoodle)
Springfield doodles has been running since 2014 as hobby breeders and then in 2018 (in accordance with Law changes) we became registered breeders with Bradford Metropolitan Council. We are a family run business where everyone gets mucked in.
If you are interested in one of our puppies, we are happy to chat via phone/text messages etc. We are also happy to video call you to show you the puppies and Mum. Once you have decided you’d like to purchase a puppy, we require a refundable deposit of £500 to secure your puppy. We will then book in a visit for you to see Mum and puppies at our home. The purpose of this visit to make sure that you are happy with your chosen puppy/meet us and our pack. Once you have confirmed your choice, the £500 becomes un-refundable and the remaining balance becomes payable the day before you collect your puppy.
We have run this system for several years now and it means that our time and yours is not wasted. Once you have reserved your puppy, we are happy to video call/ send photos etc. (This tends to be weekly/at weekends as all the family work full time jobs on top of running the dog breeding.)
When it is time for the puppies to come home, you will receive the following:
- A puppy contract signed by myself and you.
- Microchip record and number (they have to be chipped to me first by law).
- 1st injections recorded on vaccine card.
- A week's worth of puppy food.
- A toy smelling of litter mates and Mum.
- A general information letter.
Our vet (Vets4Pets Keighley) use Nobivac lepto4 for their 8 week vaccinations. Please check prior to our vet visit to have the vaccinations, your own vets use the same injections as otherwise you will need to have them repeated. (This means it will then be longer before you can take the puppy outside of your home for walks)
Any questions, feel free to ask on any of the contact methods below or on our website – www.springdoodles.co.uk
I work Monday - Friday 1.30pm - 8pm but will get back to you as soon as I can.
We tend to videocall/send photos on whatsapp so please make sure you have this downloaded as it's the easiest way for me to send you photos.
Thank you,
Louise
(Please note, all official documents have Diane Louise Horrell as my name, however I am known as Louise.)
