Very sad decision to have to re home my beautiful dog Sasha she is Dutch shepherd cross Alaskan malamute her mum was Dutch shepherd & dad Alaskan malamute I have had Sasha since she was 8 weeks old she came from wales 🏴 paid £1500 for her in 2021 originally brought for family protection/dog security work and as a working dog but unfortunately she doesn’t have the drive and bite needed for the role and in all honesty she prefers to be a family pet she loves her cuddles and fusses she loves her walks and loves to sleep she is great with kids and has grown up around mine she gets on great with my partners 12 year old staffy and my kids small pomchi dog she has been around cats and kittens and horses she’s happy to sleep inside or outside in a kennel she knows some commands in English and some in German she’s a very smart dog easy to train and absolutely amazing in the right hands and someone who knows what they are doing she loves a good game of tug or fetch unfortunately for the career I want to do (security dog handler) I needed the right dog for the job and since getting my German shepherd from the trainers they both got on great up untill last year and now they are not able to be together so have to keep them separate and I’ve not long had a new baby and can’t risk the dogs coming into contact with each other so it’s important Sasha goes to the right forever loving home as it’s not fair on her she deserves to be spoilt she’s a very calm and relaxed dog she’s great at guarding her home from intruders and defence is good her bark is definitely more from the Alaskan side it upsets me to have to rehome her but I just want her to be happy she’s happy to eat normal dog food or raw she sits and waits for her food very calm will suit anyone of any age please if you have anymore questions or info you would like to know don’t hesitate but to get into contact and I can get back to you.
