From 2nd June 2020 Kennel Club granted permission for inter variety matings which means Smooth Coated Chihuahua are allowed to mate with Long Coated Chihuahua and all puppies will get KC pedigrees.
Kennel FRIDSTAIL is now offering smooth coated lilac and tan Chihuahua boy Kiwi for stud.
KC registered Pedigree with champion blood lines, absolutely new Russian blood lines in UK. Tiny in size, weight is about 2kg, height is only 19cm. He is a perfect example of the breed with beautiful “apple” head, dense coat and correct proportions.
Kiwi’s rare real lilac colour makes him exceptional stud dog. His father is lilac parti smooth coated and mother is lilac long coated, Kiwi is carrying blue, chocolate and lilac colours which means he can produce blue, chocolate, lilac colour puppies. With smooth coated females you will get only smooth coated puppies but from long coated females there can be and smooth and long coated puppies. Kiwi is well proven.
Fully vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and vet checked. Health checked after every mating. All my dogs live in big house, not in shed or garden, they are part of my family.
It is recommended that you deworm your girl before mating, and she has to be up to date with vaccinations, worm and flea treatments. The stud fee is for 2 matings, preferably on 11 and 13 day from the first day of season. Or if you wish to do blood progesterone test than mating according to the results.
Kiwi’s preferred way of mating is AI, however sometimes he is keen for natural mating. We can always try if natural mating if you wish. Artificial insemination is same as effective as natural mating, there is no additional charge for it. I would appreciate if you would let me know the first day of your girl’s season as soon as possible. You are welcome in a quite separate room where you can relax and wait while the "job" is done (usually not more than 30 min) you can watch the process and hold your girl if you wish.
In the possible case your girl is not pregnant, one repeat mating would be offered on her next season for free. Proves that your girl didn’t get pregnant must be provided, this can be video call on the time when she is due or veterinary notes (not fertility clinic notes).
Your girl will be given the best care and attention during her time with us. Mating will only be made under supervision and I will be on hand to assist as necessary. I will try to give as much advice as needed during pregnancy and puppies growing period.
Stud fee to be paid on first visit, it is ok if your girl is a pet or a show dog, any Chihuahua and Chihuahua cross girls are welcome!
