This is Remi. We adopted her in October of 2024 and she was around 2 months old at the time. Unfortunately, due to moving house and new tenancy agreements we are unsure at this point in time about whether we can keep her. There may be the potential that we can, and if so we will know by the 1st week of August but we are just trying to put some feelers out there to see if there is any interest.
She is well loved and very tame and has had no health issues as of yet. She is not the biggest fan of being taken out of her cage, but will not try and bite and once she is out loves to be handled and run around, and as you can see in the photo even feels comfortable enough to fall asleep next to you.
She will come with her cage and all accessories and any food/bedding/treats that we have. All we ask is that she goes to a loving home who are willing to continue to handle her everyday like we do and show her all of the love possible.
Just to note, her cage is fairly big (it is over the minimum requirement for a dwarf hamster) and we would not be happy if she was to be downsized to a smaller cage due to the stress that this would put on her.
Fun fact:
Cheese and treats are her favourite in small amounts, but you do have to be careful with how many treats are consumed and how often as she is an albino hamster with red eyes and they are more prone to diabetes.
