Description
These two girls are my mum's cats. Mum has terminal cancer with only a few weeks to live so we need to find a home for her cats. I already have 4 cats, a dog and 2 children so I'm unable to take them. They are much loved pets. Used to a quiet home as mum is elderly and lives alone. They use the cat flap to come and go but spend a lot of time indoors. They are very friendly with mum and her regular visitors but are nervous of strangers and will run out the cat flap when people visit. So a quiet home rather than a family home is the ideal.
They don't have to go together. They get on fine but aren't particularly bonded. They are neutered, vaccinated, treated monthly for worms and fleas, eat dry and wet food without being picky and are completely clean in the house, no litter tray needed as they go outside.
They live with a little dog (who luckily can live with mums best friend when the time comes) so could live with a dog if it's not excitable. Mum is happy for you to meet the cats (Betty and Nancy) and would welcome the chance to meet you as she's very concerned that they get a good home.
The cats are located in Weston super Mare near the hospital. Please no time wasters. Mum is very poorly and is distressed that this needs to be done. I'm happy to chat on the phone and arrange viewing. I'm advertising for mum as her speech isn't always good now. Price set at minimum this site allows but we just need a good home, not money.
