4-Year-Old Fox Red Labrador – Loving Home Wanted It breaks my heart to have to make this decision, but I’m looking for the right forever home for my beautiful 4-year-old fox red Labrador. I worked for his original breeder, so I’ve had him virtually since birth. He has been a huge part of my life, and this decision has not been made lightly. He is a lovely boy with a heart of gold who forms strong bonds with the people he knows and trusts. Due to changes in my family circumstances, including caring for a child with additional needs, I can no longer give him the time, attention, and exercise that he truly deserves. He is naturally very nervous around children. He has adapted well to living with my own children, so a home with older, sensible children may be suitable, but he would not be suited to a home with very young children. He can play well with other dogs and enjoys canine company, but introductions and interactions need to be managed appropriately, as he can become reactive if play isn’t supervised. I’m looking for an experienced, patient owner who understands nervous dogs and is willing to give him the love, structure, and stability he needs to thrive. Finding the right home is far more important to me than a quick sale, and I will only let him go to someone I feel is the right match.
