🐾 Border Collie × Husky Looking for a Loving Home 🐾
We’re sadly looking to rehome our 11-month-old Border Collie × Siberian Husky. She is a bright, affectionate, and energetic young dog who will thrive in the right environment.
✨ About Her:
• 11 months old, medium size, stunning Collie/Husky mix
• Very intelligent and eager to learn
• Loves treats and responds well to clicker training
• Playful, affectionate, and bonds strongly with her people
🏡 Ideal Home: She needs an experienced and patient owner who understands herding/working breeds. She is still young and learning, so she will do best with someone who can continue consistent training and provide her with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
⚠️ Things to Know:
• Can get overstimulated with strangers and is reactive toward dogs, joggers, and bikes due to her breed
• Pulls on the lead, but is improving with training
• Would benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement, structure, and possibly a quieter household without small children (although we are familiar with working breeds, unfortunately her herding instincts take over with our two year old)
She is a wonderful, loyal dog with huge potential — she just needs the right person to guide her. This has been a very, heart breaking and difficult decision, so we will only let her go to a committed and suitable home where she'll be safe and happy.
