Ernie is a very much loved dog who we have owned since a puppy. He is a typical boxer who is very energetic and boisterous. Ernie is neutered and is fully up to date with vaccinations and yearly health checks.
Sadly Ernie can be reactive to other dogs and has poor recall. He requires time and effort from an experienced owner to fix his issues. We now have a toddler and another baby on the way and are struggling to manage his behaviours when out of the home.
Although very loving to his family whilst at home he is unpredictable when we are out and we are concerned about his behaviour around the children. Ernie would suit a family without young children and needs additional training.
We are very sad to rehome him but feel we have no choice. We have contacted our local rehoming shelters and charities but they are unable to help.
We really would
like someone who is experienced with this breed and can give Ernie a wonderful home. Happy to discuss further, arrange facetime ect so anyone intrested can see Ernie.
