Our beautiful Honey has given birth to her first litter, 4 absolutely adorable puppies.
Honey comes from fantastic working cocker spaniel bloodlines. She has an amazing, attentive nature. An extremely intelligent dog, Honey was a pleasure to train, a very happy dog who’s eager to please. A very loving girl who has made an incredible first time mum. She has fed them without the need for intervention up to the start of their weening schedule at 4 weeks old.
Dad is Rambo from Moorsbarrow Hall Farm Gudogs’ pack, his 5 generation kennel club certificate speaks for itself. Packed with field trial champions and winners. He is a beautiful pale chocolate and tan colour, with bright eyes. Good solid example of a working cocker spaniel. He is extremely athletic with all the exercise he gets up at the farm. He is a fantastic swimmer, definitely not shy of a dip.
With health at the forefront of mating partners, Rambo has been health tested for the following:
- Acral Mutilation Syndrome - GDNF
- Degenerative Myelopathy - SOD1
- Exercise induced collapse - DNM1
- Familial Nephropathy - COL4A4
- Glycogen storage disease VII - PFKM
- Progressive Retinal Atrophy - PRCD
Both parents are KC registered, so the pups will be too. They have been reared in our family home, regularly being handled, played with and snuggled by both adults and children, definitely not short of lots of love. They are used to a busy house and all the noises. They settle fantastic of an evening, when the lights go out they know it's bed time and we follow a strict 9pm bedtime routine so they are used to sleeping through the night. They are happy, healthy puppies who enjoy playing until they drop then cuddled to recharge so they can play some more. They have been fully weened and are eating a diet of freshly cooked food consisting of meat and a variety of vegetables and health promoting supplements. They all have fantastic appetites and are gradually gaining weight. They have puppy mats down in the house during the day and are getting better each day at learning where to do their business. They have been wormed according to their schedule and will be flea treated to protect them.
From strong parents, these pups are going to grow into the most beautiful, athletic working cocker spaniels. A dog that can follow you on any adventure (and then still want to go for a walk, unless you’re happy to cuddle). The ‘Cocker Spaniel’, a dog with bundles of energy who will continually keep you entertained. With such loving and gentle natures and all with their unique characters, this breed will steal your heart.
