Etta is a beautiful, loving young dog eagerly searching for a secure, caring, and patient forever home. With her delightful temperament—affectionate, loyal nature, and full of personality—Etta brings a unique spark to everyday life. She thrives on cuddles and enjoys curling up beside you on the sofa, relishing every moment spent close to her loved ones.
Having grown up in a lively household with older children, an older dog, and two friendly cats, Etta has formed wonderful bonds with her family. She gets along exceptionally well with our older dog and one of our cats, always upbeat and friendly within the home. She is also accustomed to having visitors, as we run a busy clinic from our house. Etta’s gentle but gushing welcoming demeanour makes her an ideal dog for the home, truly thriving in a family environment.
Etta is KC registered, coming from five generations of purebred Coton, and has been gene tested. She is in perfect health and has been raised on a balanced diet of raw food from Natural Instinct, Core, and Cannagan grain-free kibble. Etta is groomed and has her teeth cleaned regularly. Although she has a hernia, it does not require surgery unless she is used for breeding.
Reason for sale: Etta has had the unfortunate habit of escaping from our garden far too many times. We live on an extremely busy road and due to our estate being as it is, it is impossible to secure the grounds. This has occurred at very inconvenient times during client consultations or when presenting or teaching via webinar. Then, the other day, she ran out onto the road whilst barking at passers by and nearly caused a car crash outside our drive! So we've had to make a firm decision ... since this has happened too many times and has quite frankly becoming a dangerous situation for her and for cars in our area.
Please note that; due to her repeated escaping and assumed position of guarding by barking at the front of our estate (near a very busy road), Etta has recently become anxious outside of the house. But, she is young enough to be trained out of this habit with positive reinforcement, and time that we sadly do not have available. Please make absolutely sure that you have the time and patience to put training into place in order to socialise her one-to-one outside of the home.
Please note that the other white dog featured in some of the photos is not available for adoption; they are included to demonstrate Etta’s comfort around familiar dogs.
