Description
We’re gutted to be rehoming our beautiful girl, Bonita, as she is not bonding with our older boy (whose partner we lost early last year).
We collected Bonita in December 2024, and over the past 6 months have tried everything. They just both try to be dominant, and, where she is younger and faster, it stresses him out.
She is wonderful. Such a big personality, she will be the centre of attention and loves giving love to people. She handles well, will binky between your feet, lick you as much as you will let her, and will take endless strokes. She’s a velcro pet and will sit with you all day, flopping against you whenever possible (I work from home, and she is rarely further away than between the wheels of my chair).
Hopefully this description helps you understand just how amazing she is, and how upset we are to be losing her. It’s only been 6 months but she is such an amazing character to have in the home and we’ll miss her. However, our bunnies can’t be in the same room, meaning they are each only getting 50% attention and companionship from us, when they each deserve 100%.
Our priority is not getting money for her, it’s making sure she will have the best, happiest life she possibly can. All potential homes will require a video call to show where she will be living (inside) and will cover a few questions covering lifestyle (nothing intrusive, just making sure she won’t be left alone all day), experience with bunnies and plans for care.
She will come with food, hay, a large cage (her previous owners would shut her in at night - we don’t, but it holds her litter, water and keeps her hay contained (all included)).
Other accessories include:
- clip-together run (20ish frames - helps with bunny-proofing and acts as a run)
- pink fabric carrier
- vaccination history (will have her vaccines up to date before leaving)
- leash (we haven’t tried this where it’s been winter and we live in an area with lots of dogs, but her previous owners said they did it regularly)
- nail clippers and brush (although we can recommend better)
We’ll also provide a ‘Bonita Handbook’ to call out all her quirks and preferences, and will explain the full care plan we do to look after her at home, and will be available for advice/pics once she is settling.
Have many more pics and vids of Bonita (dark brown, she’s a star! Just ask if you want to see) and have included 1 pic of Pluto (light brown, our old boy).
Please enquire on here, or WhatsApp zero seven seven eight three two two seven zero zero seven and we can coordinate a call.
Any questions feel free to reach out - have all the time in the world for Bonita.
