Here we have my gorgeous well behaved boy named Snyper. He has been brought up with my 9 year old son and is a great family dog. Snyper is very intelligent and very calm for a Malinois which makes him such a good pet.
I have put in a lot of effort with Snypers training. He can do all the basics and more. Sit, down, wait, paw, speak, stand on back legs, spin left and right, switch ( turn around), hand touch, place with is his bed, focus on the item i want him to focus on until released. He walks on a lead very well. His heal is coming along nicely using a food lure with the sit and spin during heal. I command 'under' for him to walk in between my legs and will focus on my hand.
Snyper is properly crate trained and does not wine or bark in his crate. He loves it and sees it as his safe place. He is crated after every walk to learn to switch off.
He has a really good recall, he will fetch as far as you can throw his toy and bring it back, even with the distractions of other dogs around.
Snyper is great with kids and other dogs.
Snyper is very aware that his bite hurts, if he gets you while playing he will always show remorse and check that you are ok. I can even play tug with just a ball with him.
We have been practising on Snypers sniff work to build the use of his nose.
I have put in a lot of effort into Snypers impulse controls putting him in all the situations where distractions are everywhere and he is really doing so well for his age.
Like all Malinois puppies, Snyper does have his moments when he wants to get at something so much he jumps around and starts lead biting. I can put a stop to this with in seconds with the right correction. He knows the command 'calm' which really helps with this.
Snyper is also very friendly with other dogs, he plays with other dogs off lead at our local field and has never attacked another dog and has never been attacked.
I am a novice dog trainer and have managed all this with my own research and consistency, Snyper would be a great dog for anyone wanting to train him. He runs like lightning and has one very proud spring in his jump and would be great for agility and sniff work.
Snyper is a happy and very playful dog all round.
I am a full time single parent and due to my change in working circumstances I do not have the time to be able to keep Snyper and have had to come to this heart breaking decision to let him go to a loving home and family that do have the time.
Snyper is a great companion for anyone and so well behaved, I am going to miss him greatly but as long as I know he is being loved and looked after I will sleep easier.
