I rehomed Mena around 4 months ago.
I live in a ground floor flat with patio doors and outside a long grass strip. However, we are also right next to a busy road.
I bought Mena a harness at first as I wanted her to be able to go outside. She absolutely hated it & it became impossible to put it on her.
She was pining to go outside, meowing constantly. So I let her out & she stayed very near by. She seemed so content & happy just to be outside.
As time has gone on it has become clear that she needs to be rehomed somewhere safe where she can be an outdoor cat as & when she wants to. I feel really sorry for her that I'm not in a position to give her that.
She would need a home with no other cats or dogs as she wouldn't like that.
She can be so cute, she knows her name & she absolutely loves the lick-e-lix sausage & cat grass flavour. You only have to ask "Does Mena want a treat" & she knows exactly what that means & will come running to you.
She is fully litter trained, micro chipped, had her first 2 jabs, up to date with flea & worming treatment and has been neutered.
I want what is in her best interest & after myself and my 12 year old son have created this bond with her, we love her enough to let her go to where she can live her best life & be happy.
If the right person could offer her what she needs & be her forever person that would always care & love her and go over & beyond to do all they could for her then I wouldn't want any money for her. She's not an object to receive money for.
