This is an extremely heartfelt unfortunate message that our boy Apollo is looking for his new forever home.
This is no fault of his own - we cannot fault him but we have had a newborn and a change is job hours is making it extremely difficult for my parter to give Apollo the love and affection he deserves while also raising a baby.
He is full cane corso, with Serbian imported parents, which results in a slightly smaller cane corso but he is still a big boy weighing 30kg at 7 months old.
He is amazing with other dogs but very boisterous and can be quite rough when playing so other dogs in the house must not be small, he is used to playing with a 45kg GSD daily.
There is nothing he loves more than a cuddle on the sofa, he is a huge softy and spends most his day cuddled on the sofa, he is not shy and loves to meet new people and has been amazing around our 11 week old son.
I would much prefer he was to go a home in Wolverhampton so I can still meet up for walks and assist with his development.
Also experience and understanding of the breed is a must - Cane Corso’s are dominant guardian breeds and require the correct training - luckily most of this has already been done but this needs to be continuous and I will happily assist with this. He knows his commands, his name, sit, stay, up, down and knows when to wait for food and leaving through doors. Someone who works from home would be a perfect fit as he really loves people.
Please note - he does have some love companionship and someone out the house 8 hours a day is no good for him - he needs additional training, he occasionally will spoil on the floor if he is locked away in protest, he would be great as a second dog for someone as he would have a companion with him.
He will not be going to a home as a fashion accessory because of his breed, I would love a family to adopt him and give him the love and attention he deserves.
Person and home vetting will be completed prior to his adoption, please state your location - as stated previously I would love for him to stay in Wolverhampton so I can meet for walks and assist in his development
He is not neutered so he will not be free as I do not want him being used for breeding due to his temperament and colours
