Sadly we are having to re-home our 4 Year Old Girl Cocker Spaniel.
This is due to her becoming aggressive to our other dogs and becoming jealous when the others are getting the attention.
We took her on a year ago and re-homed her from her original owners and it was stated at that time that she was great with other dogs, but since then we have found that she isn’t; she has jealous tendencies and she resource guards her food.
This is why we feel she would be better suited to a household with no other pets and with no children, as if she can be jealous of other animals there is unfortunately the chance to become jealous of children as-well.
She is an absolutely beautiful dog, in good health, microchipped and we have recently had her spayed after sought advice from the vets in chance to help calm her, but this has not happened.
She has quite a-bit of plaque on her teeth - her teeth were in bad shape when we got her, they could do with an appointment for a professional clean.
She is well trained, walks well and follows instructions. She is crate trained also. She will come with bed, crate and food bowls.
It is breaking our hearts to re-home her but we need to do what’s best for her and our other dogs.
