This very handsome chap has come in to rescue after a change in his previous owner's circumstances. He is a really affectionate and loving boy, and shows typical Bengal traits.
Odie is ideally looking for an adopter(s) who has owned a Bengal cat before, or at least has a good understanding of them. He needs to be the only cat in the home and he doesn't like dogs. Bengals are not suitable for first time cat owners, so his adopter(s) will need to have owned cats previously.
Bengals typically require a lot of stimulation as they are very intelligent and curious animals. They can easily become bored and unhappy if their needs aren't met.
Odie enjoys wandering so will need to have outdoor access, ideally through a cat flap so he can come and go as he likes. He needs lots of things to explore outside, away from busy roads, so a semi-rural or rural location would be perfect. He has lived with young children previously and is absolutely fine with them.
Odie is in foster in Tadley.
Rehoming criteria:
- Must have previous experience with cats, ideally with Bengals
- Can live with children of any age
- Cannot live with other cats or dogs
- Will need outside access
- Can be left a working day
The minimum adoption fee is £185 per cat which includes:
- Neutering
- Microchip (there is a small fee to register/ transfer ownership)
- At least the first vaccination
- Up to date flea and worming
- A Pet Remedy new home kit
- 5 weeks free insurance with Agria
- A blanket for a familiar smell
- Ongoing advice and support
