Basil has only been with us a month and unfortunately he is not getting on with our other 3 cats, as soon as they go downstairs he is attacking them, we have tried lots of different ways to help them all to get along, but nothing is working.
We have never had this problem before, when we have brought in our other cats there has been hissing etc for a few days but they soon enough get along, I wanted another Mainecoon as we lost our Heathcliffe in Dec 24 due to health problems, he was only 8 months old, even when we had him the others loved him in no time, I want you to know that Basil is a lovely boy, he is very affectionate and loves to be picked up and look over your shoulder, he is still young and does like to give you a nibble, he was like this when we got him and we have been checking him for this, and he does stop when told.
He is not microchipped as the breeders didn't have him done and we was wanting him to settle in our home first.
