Lucky’s name is a testament to his survival against all odds. Left to fend for himself when war forced his family to abandon their home in Ukraine, he wandered the wreckage, cold, hungry, and completely alone. With no food, no shelter, and winter closing in, Lucky faced each day in a world that had forgotten him.
By the time volunteers found him, Lucky was at death’s door—weak, malnourished, and barely able to lift his head. Huddled beside a crumbled wall for warmth, he had almost given up. But his story didn’t end there. Those volunteers, driven by compassion, scooped him up and carried him to safety.
In their care, Lucky began to heal. He gained weight, found comfort in warm blankets, and slowly started to trust again. Despite everything he had endured, his eyes sparkled with gratitude, and his heart remained open.
Today, Lucky is searching for the family he’s always deserved—a home filled with kindness, safety, and love. He is gentle, sweet-natured, and ready to leave his painful past behind.
