We are sad to have to give away our family dog. He was a great watchdog, guard dog, loyal family member. He is great with kids, he loves to play with our daughter.
Reason for giving him away is because we are moving abroad in the summer, and we will be doing a lot of moving and redecorating from now and will leave our current home in a month or two.
He is a purebred American Akita, very loyal and very protective. He has been socialised with other dogs, but he picks and chooses who he makes friends with. On the other hand, he is good with humans that his owners are good with ie family/friends if he sees you interacting with people he will not be aloof or suspicious of them anymore. He is not aggressive, he rarely barks, but if he barks that means there is something there so it’s best to check.
He is used to being outdoors most of the time in the garden. Only accepting families, as he needs to be in a good and loving family environment. He loves walks to the park, he loves seeing the ducks, and also loves to have a run side by side with you. He loves having water splashed on him in the summer, and loves being chased with water. He is easy to bathe, does not mind the shampoo and scrubbing. I usually take him to groomers when he is shedding which is about twice/thrice a year. Monthly worm and flea treatment subscription from pet at home around £10 a month. He is not neutered, so he can stud. He is not fussy with food, he normally eats kibble, vegetables and fruits. For snacks normal dog treats any will do, he likes the hard meaty ones. Daily dentastick needs to be given for healthy teeth and gums.
The price of the dog is zero as I am not selling him. You can choose to take what you need from all the treats/toys/food I have. Collection only in RM9. Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
