Meggy’s Story: Rescued Minutes Before Death Meggy was born on 15.01.2023, a sweet, gentle girl whose young life nearly ended before it truly began. At just 1 year and 8 months old, she was taken to a kill compound — a cold, silent place where unwanted dogs’ lives are measured in minutes. She waited in her cage, trembling and alone, unaware that her fate had already been sealed. Every second passed as the clock ticked toward her death. Her soft eyes, full of innocence and hope, silently begged for someone to save her. And then, just minutes before she was to be euthanised, volunteers arrived. They scooped her up, wrapped her in warmth, and whispered promises of love she had never known. In that instant, Meggy’s story changed forever. Today, Meggy is safe, healthy, and blossoming into the affectionate, gentle soul she was always meant to be. She is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, and she gets along wonderfully with children, other dogs, and cats. Meggy survived when all hope seemed lost.
