reya is just over a year old and medium in size. She really needs a kind and understanding home with another confident dog (or more), but no cats. She needs a home in a quiet setting, and could live with calm, older children.
This sweet girl needs a supportive home somewhere where she can feel safe and learn to build her confidence around strange people. Another confident, well balanced dog will help with this.
Freya is really very good with other dogs; showing polite and respectful behaviour towards them. Although, she can be a bit scared if another dog barks at her.
Sadly, Freya has become quite fearful of people in general, but especially of men. She is more worried by strangers approaching her in enclosed spaces.
Outside of the home, in open spaces, she is better able to be around strangers (plenty of treats and positive experiences are helping her lots!).
Freya is walking really well on a lead now and she has good recall. She will even wait to cross the road when asked.
Freya is a very intelligent girl who loves learning and playing. Once she knows you, she loves to have a cuddle. She is great in the car, is fully house trained, crate trained and muzzle trained. This lovely lady has also coped very well with being left alone in the house.
On the whole, Freya is such an affectionate and loving girl with people who become her friends. She makes lots of eye contact and likes to be around her people for cuddles or just chilling time. Freya just needs some support and understanding to help her live her best life.
