Description

I'm looking to rehome my perfect cat, Boots. My partner is very allergic and has put in a good 2 years of antihistamines, but it isn't working anymore. I don't want to "sell" him, so won't accept any money, the £50 I had to put in on the website, but I won't take the money. I just want to place him in a loving, happy home. Boots is a domestic shorthair with a soft coat that does shed a bit, so a weekly brush is a good idea - depending on how much the hair bothers you. He's a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he's incredibly loving and cuddly. He's also quite the conversationalist and will happily respond if you meow at him. Boots is very easy-going and would likely be great with kids (although I don't have any myself). He has a very loving and kind nature, doesn't scratch, bite, or hiss and people (known or unknown), he even lets me bathe him every two weeks and clip his nails, although I'm sure he wouldn't mind skipping it. I've had Boots since he was 8 weeks old in Australia. I brought him with me to London when I moved in 2022 - I just couldn't leave him behind. So yes, he is also an international traveller! He is desexed, up to date on all vaccinations, and will be turning 7 on October 16. While he does occasionally enjoy being outdoors, he has become more of an indoor cat lately and is content with or without outdoor access. Boots has a preference for fish-flavoured foods and when he naps, he loves it when you gently draw a line from his nose up to his forehead. He will also ask for belly rubs when he's comfortable with you by rolling on his back and wriggling around.
