💔 Rescue Story
🐶 Luna was adopted as a puppy and has lived in her family’s home for three years. She’s adored by everyone in the house, but the reality is she’s simply overwhelmed by the constant movement and noise of a big family, 3 children and lots of visiting adults and children.
🐶 Luna has never had serious behavioural problems, but she’s sensitive—she can be unpredictable with nipping visitors if over-handled or over-stimulated. Her family shared this with honesty, knowing it’s something that can be gently worked on in the right environment, especially as far as that’s only about visiting children, who all wanted to touch and strike her.
Family want Luna to live a calmer, more centred life with someone who truly understands her needs.
💬 “She loves everyone and attention but it’s just a busy household with many visitors and no one to focus on her needs. .”
🐾 Personality & Needs
🐶 Luna is loving, clever, and very people-oriented. She adores her walks, enjoys playtime, and lights up when she gets one-on-one attention. She understands basic commands and has a sweet, engaging way about her—but she does need consistency and time to feel truly safe.
She’s a one-dog household kind of girl—someone who will blossom with calm, routine, and gentle guidance. While she’s fine with children, her tendency to nip under stress means we’d recommend a home without active, loud young kids.
💬” She isn’t working with our family dynamic. She doesn’t want to share attention with another dog so it’s not working with him and with the constant stream of visitors we have coming to visit and stay or over for play dates Luna isn’t comfortable. I think she needs to be in a home with less people preferably adults who have time to train her and spend time with her. She definitely should be in a home where she would be the only dog/pet. She is ok to be left alone for a short time. She likes also chewing her bone and some dog toys. She is ok with children but again unpredictable with nipping, but maybe just want a space.
🏡 Ideal Family
🐶 Luna will thrive with an experienced, adult-only home (or calm teens 13+), where she’s the only dog and can soak up all the love and attention. A home with a secure garden, and an adopter who understands positive reinforcement training would be a dream come true.
🐶 She’s not a high-maintenance dog—just one who needs to feel secure, understood, and included. With that, Luna will reward her person with fierce loyalty, cuddles galore, and a best friend for life.
🩺 Health Information
🐶 Luna is healthy, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped.
