Description

16 months old labrador x golden retriever. Toilet trained. Sleeps down stairs in a gate off space of her own. Trained with: Sit, stay, bed, down( laying down), away( move away from object or person) and no or ut ut. Ut ut is used for correcting behaviour which she knows. Commands were kept basic as I have 3 young children and one of which is disabled. Basic commands as thats what she understands. She doesn't understand when other words are incorporated like "go and lay down" she doesn't do it and she looks puzzled. I say "bed" and "down". She is very loving, happy go lucky. She is a gorgeous beautiful girl but she doesn't give my disabled child space. She is great with kids but not my disabled child which is partly why we got her. I also have a disability myself and it's very hard when im bad to cope with her and my children. Unfortunately with everything I have going on a dog isnt a good fit. I have tried to make it work but it's unfair on Maggie our dog. She is on Millies wolfheart puppy food which is 60/40 meat and veg. Great for dogs and gets delivered to your house. Has pet insurance with pets @home. She has all vaccination and flea and worming up to date. She has paperwork too. She has only been with us since she was 12 weeks old. She has not been spaded as that was my choice. I didn't need to worry about her getting pregnant. She is never off lead so has no recall off lead outside. She likes bone treats or chicken feet, cows face etc. Most organic raw dog treats. Maggie is in great health and is a good natured dog. She hasn't been socialised with other dogs other than my mums sharpie and bullmastiff dogs. She is extremely playful with dogs so trained her to sit when they walk past instead of getting over excited. I didn't let her jump up and trained her not to as I have a disability and a fall would be really bad for me. She also doesn't go on sofa's or upstairs but that's personal preference. I use a ferminator brush on her in spring and summer as she starts to shed alot but then that could be her puppy hair. Maggie is only fed once a day now and small treats when training or to keep her entertained if we're gone all day. She is stunning and lovely, she does just want to please you or have affection from you. She is a blonde colouring with brown eyes. Shes had a dog spa treatment before so she's fine with being washed, hairdryer, nails clipped. Maggie needs mental stimulation as well as physical. She is only 1 so will need continuous training till at least 4 years old. She is beautiful and we love her. I have added pictures from her now and in her younger months. I am gutted to be looking for a new home for her. But it is better to find her somewhere now than when she is older. I will be very specific and make sure she is going to someone who has the time for her and can look after her well. Price is because I want her to have a good place with someone to afford healthy food, treats and insurance. She has leads, toys, treats and a full 12kg bag of food and a quarter of a opened bag left.
