Description
Rupert has been our family dog since he was 12 weeks old. He has grown with young children from 2 years old. Due to a change in circumstances and us not being able to give Rupert the time and attention he needs we’re sadly having to re home him. We are looking for someone to give him a loving home who can be around every day. Rupert loves attention and cuddles, he also loves his long walks. Rupert is fine with other dogs. He has been neutered and since this can be reactive to people walking past the house ( we live on a busy road) and can also sometimes be reactive when walking on a lead but is fine off lead. Rupert is a healthy dog and has never had any health problems.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
