Description

Due to unforeseen family circumstances, we have no option but to rehome our beautiful dachshund puppy, Bruno. He is 7 months old (at the time of writing), has a very playful nature and is incredibly loving. He is great around children (we have 4 ranging from 14 years to 10 months old) and does okay around other dogs, although could do with some training not to jump up at them. He does have alot of separation anxiety & would need someone to give him the time or an other small dog for him to have a friend. He would make a perfect pet for someone who can devote a lot more time for walks and play than, sadly we are able to at this time. He is microchipped and we will give you all of the information to change ownership upon completion of rehoming. He is up to date on vaccinations and will be due his 1 year vacs around about March of 2027. We are heartbroken to see him go but we are so keen to see him go to his forever home. Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
