Duty is a large, powerful and upstanding Dark Fox Red male who is available for stud services to approved females.
He is Kennel Club Registered and has a super pedigree which boasts some of the best working bloodlines. His sire is a Field Trial Champion and he's exceptionally well bred throughout his pedigree, from generations of Heath Tested dogs.
Duty is hip and elbow scored with excellent results, he has a single digit combined hip score and an total elbow score of zero. He is DNA CLEAR for the recommended breed health conditions, which means mated to any female, none of his progeny can ever become affected by these conditions.
Duty has super structure, he is strong and athletic with great bone and substance. He has an extremely Dark Fox Red double coat and a correct otter tail-traits which are lost in many of the modern day Labradors. He is a typical old fashioned type of Labrador, a real gentleman's shooting dog that oozes quality and presence, turning heads wherever he goes.
In addition, he has a wonderful temperament, he's a kind, bold, biddable boy who is a pleasure to have around, he has a real zest for life and gives one hundred percent in anything that is asked of him, whether that's finding game in the shooting field or simply curling up in his favourite chair, he's versatile and adaptable, just as a Labrador should be!
Duty is well proven, siring several large litters which have produced some super puppies who have gone on to excel as Gundogs, Assistance Dogs, Seizure Alert Dogs and of course many who are simply much loved family companions.
Stud Fee is payable at the time of mating and two matings are provided with a FREE return should your female fail to conceive. Duty is a keen stud dog and is particularly experienced with first time and difficult females.
Short notice matings can be catered for if required and we are happy to provide natural or assisted matings.
We are located on the Fife coast, near Cupar, and you're welcome to come and meet him at our home.
