♥️ I would like introduce our happy and treasured member of the family Chewbacca “Chewie”, who is available for stud. He is a clever and playful boy who is very affectionate and loves nothing more than a big cuddle. ♥️
He is an F2B phantom chocolate Merle with a luxurious thick, curly/loose wave coat, which is highly desired amongst his breed.
Chewie’s health test results show his A locus results are AT/AT meaning he has TWO copies of the phantom gene. His K locus reveals he is KB/KY meaning he himself doesn’t present as phantom but can produce phantom pups, and what’s more the rarely seen PHANTOM MERLE pups! (As long as your girl is KB/KY or KY/KY.) Evidence of chews results can be presented.
Height (from shoulder) - just under 17”
Weight - 10kg
Chewie was bred by a relative who has kept members of his family e.g mum, brother, half sister meaning Chewie gets frequent play dates. He comes from a family of health tested cockapoos.

~ PROVEN ~

~ HEALTH TESTED ~
Chewie is extensively health tested with results showing CLEAR of over 250 genetic predispositions & hereditary diseases present in both Poodles and Cocker Spaniels.
Chewie’s puppies are GUARANTEED to be unaffected for the following diseases (and many more):
• Progressive Retinal Atrophy (prcd-PRA)
• Late Onset PRA ( rcd4-PRA) / LOPRA
• Acral Mutilation Syndrome ( AMS )
• Degenerative Myelopathy (DM Exon 2)
• Familial Nephropathy (FN)
• von Willebrand disease Type I (vWD I)
• Neonatal encephalopathy (NEWS)
• IVDD & Chondrodystrophy
It is important to only use health tested stud dogs to ensure the health of all future generations of Cockapoos.
Coat Traits:
• Furnishings: 2 copies
• Curly Coat: 2 copies
• Reduced shedding: 1 copy
As Chewie carries 2 copies of furnishings, his pups will always have the trademark cockapoo look (fluffy faces & a moustache/beard). Chewie’s puppies will not be smoothies/smooth coated.

~ BREEDING ~
NO MERLE TO MERLE BREEDINGS, as this can result in puppies which may be born with birth defects such as blindness.
We are open to different breeds and all generations of Cockapoo (F1, F2, F3, F1b, F2b etc.). Chewie’s DNA results show he is ‘EE’ meaning he does not carry the red gene and can safely breed with red/apricot girls. Papers can be shown for proof.
His semen has been analysed with EXCELLENT quality.
ALL BREEDINGS WITH CHEWIE ARE VIA ASSISTED MATING (ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION) ONLY. This is to prevent infections such as Canine Herpes Virus and avoid stress for both Chewie and your girl. AI is much safer, far quicker and very successful.
The AI will be performed by the breeder who provided us with Chewie. She is CPD qualified and defra assured in canine fertility and artificial insemination.
Two AI meetings at 48 hours apart are included in the stud fee. Extra sessions are available for £50.
Cytology can also be provided at a discounted rate of £20 upon request for all of Chewie’s dates.
