Description

Toby is an entire male, border collie cross Saluki, aged 9+ months. Unfortunately I am no longer able to keep up with his high functionality, energy and such. Due to personal reasons, it would be best to allow someone else, who will provide the best, loving home for him. Preferably with a big secure garden, where he can exert his energy efficiently. Toby tends to nibble and chew things when he gets bored and can therefore be a bit destructive. This is why he is in need of a secure outside area, and a home where someone will be able to give a lot of time to training and caring for him. He does very well with other dogs and has lived with a variety of cats. His prey drive is only strong towards rabbits, he loves to say hello to hedgehogs! I havent yet been able to take him off the lead due to recall, speed and my trust. He can get quite upset being left alone so would ideally do better in an environment with more than one person, i.e. a family with older children. Due to his excitement I don't think small, young children would be ideal. However, he is incredibly adaptable, willing to learn and due to his young age very teachable.
