I have 2 French bulldog brothers for rehoming. Through no fault of their own I also have a vet check to show no health problems.
Loki (merle)is great with children and adults but we have not been around children under the age of 8. Loki is such a ball of energy, he’s like a cheeky little school kid. He is usually the one that gets into trouble more and if he’s quiet then you need to question where he is or what he’s doing. He loves to just chill on the sofa or in the garden. He will get zoomies and they both tend to want to play when the other is chilling. They love a little play fight. Loki walks well on the lead but can’t be off lead like his brother as he just ignores your complete existence. If you are in a big open space with no distractions he is fine but if not then he refuses to acknowledge you. Loki is quite independent and will happily lie on his own and chill.
Thor (lilac tan) is fantastic with children and adults and just wants to be loved by everyone. Thor can be very calm when greeting people but very easily made excited by Loki. They both get jealous if one is being fussed but the other isn’t but this is only with strangers or new people. In the house there is just me and my daughter so they aren’t used to more than just us.
Thor is a bundle of love who makes my heart melt. He is like a little old man and loves everybody. He will get a funny 5-10 minuets and do some crazy zoomies but he’s quite a lazy boy and is happy having a snuggle with a human and blanket. He can we quite stubborn and will just stop still and avoid eye contact if he doesn’t want to do something.
He wears a hardness when out and he is really good on the lead but very particular what side he walks and where the lead sits. When out in a big open space Thor can go off lead as he has good recall and won’t go far from you. Hes not keen on having his harness put on and when your out he will just run and roll rather than walk (Very amusing)
When food preparing loki along with Thor needs to go into the crate otherwise he will attack Thor if they are both out together. This has only started since I went away in August. Once the food is prepped Thor will come out and eat his food, Loki will stay in the crate. 5 minutes after Thor has eaten Loki will come out and Thor will go into the crate. They always try and play after food but Thor can’t play as his food needs time to settle otherwise he is sick. We have tried a dry diet but this caused both both to be sick and a lot of poos a day. We tried only raw but it was too rich and the poo was like water. Mixture seems to be a good balance for both of them. As all French bull dogs they can be sensitive to foods it is just a case of looking before giving. Loki so far has had no issues with food apart from salmon, this can give him a bad belly.
