Lainey is a cross between and mini and a regular dachshund. She is a lovely girl who doesn't like long walks but adores a cuddle. Looking to rehome due to the relationship she has with my other dachshund. She a kind girl but due to her age is excitable. We've had her since she was 8 weeks with 5 children in the house. Ranging from 2-14 years. So good with kids. Lainey does resource guard and I think that is why she doesn't get on with my other pup. It's with a heavy heart I write this post but I just want a family or couple that will love and cuddle her as she deserves. I am only charging for Lainey as she come with everything needed for her including a wooden sideboard crate from the range. Shes a precious sole but very giddy and silly at times. Date of birth is 23/12/2024 she is nearly 2.it won't allow me to change dob 🤔

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs

Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please

Fun-loving and playful by nature

Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
