Description

This adorable young boy wins everybody with his gentle approach and contagious affection. FELIX gets on with other dogs and he’s very friendly with everybody. He likes walking, running and playing with other dogs, but he is really interested in humans. He spent a day or so with a potential adopting family, but their existing dog didn't accept him. Here are some impressions received from them : "Having had Felix with us for about 12 hours - failed only because of our current dog absolutely refusing to allow him in or near our home. Felix is so deserving of a fantastic home, he wanders along on lead, he is incredibly affectionate and chilled. Even when faced with our large male dog being surprisingly unreasonable and aggressive, he just walked away and shrugged it off. I was forced to separate them (for Felix's safety), leave our current dog with my wife and take Felix unexpectedly to work with me. He stayed by my side and gently sat under my desk - with all my customers saying what a lovely dog he was. He got a bit scared at times, he tried to take something out of a bin and, when I told him no, he cowered as if he thought I was going to hit him, obviously I didn’t and I just made a fuss of him which he seemed to be both surprised and grateful for. He truly deserves a loving home where he can have a lovely life. It was an incredibly difficult decision to take him back to the rescue centre and even after our short time together he clearly didn’t want to leave me. Felix will be a fabulous dog to any home that could have him, I’m only sorry that can’t be ours..." ("I thought maybe this might be helpful for your advert - please let us know when he gets adopted." ... "My husband -who never cries- cried when he had to leave him… sorry again.") Inside the kennels where he is now, FELIX is very sad. He needs a loving person or family. Please adopt him ! FELIX is a medium/large size boy weighing around 25Kg now. He’s still got a bit of growing to do… We think he is a German Shepherd etc cross. He was a stray dog in a godforsaken village and we don’t know other info on his background. Please call us for more details. FELIX has been fully vaccinated. Friends InDeed is a registered Charity. Home-Check (even done online, at times) is mandatory. We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful ! We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be ! We will need your promise that FELIX will reside as a PET in your Home and he will be well looked-after and loved ! Should you adopt him - you will also agree to keep in touch with us, for years to come - so we can help with any issues. You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt a dog from our rescue. We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We reserve the right to ask any (different) adoption fee / donation for our rescue dogs - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are hardly covering the costs ! Anyway, we are flexible and open(...minded) to discuss over the price with the right potential adopters. Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go. We keep in touch with absolutely all adopters (over 500 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide good references from any of them. You can meet FELIX in our place - NG14 6NY, but -as we do with a lot of our dogs- we can bring FELIX almost anywhere in the country -from St. Helier to Lerwick- and you won’t have to pay a penny until you have him ! Please, please - NO TIMEWASTERS ! Thank You ! Adrian & Maria
