Description‘Lando’ little boy LOVES THE RESIDENT
CATS U.K. second chance adoptions through no fault of his own- due to owner moving- Cornwall area ‘There’s no place like home...i wish’
In the words of the current owner “Lando’s Bio.
Lando came to me in December scared and bewildered! He cowered away in a corner but soon started growing confidence little by little. Lando loves running outside in the yard, loves the children and both resident cats. He gets along well with the other resident female dogs too!

The Welfare break the chains is adding these key points too based upon current owners write-up-
House proud / clean / trained
Can be left for a few hours with other dogs
Bed spooning
Sleeps peacefully through the night Wants to please & learn
Things that will need the work to continue what I have started.
Lead walking. Harness wearing. Riding in a car.
please note, that even though Lando is not confident with the few things mentioned, he is getting loads better. Please, PLEASE, do NOT force Lando to walk on a lead as this will set him back. Little steps with him and he will get there. Anything forced on Lando will not work and will set him back. Patience is key with Lando.
Lando still spooks at certain things like sudden movements, loud bangs, unusual noises. BUT, he is the most loving, most affectionate and funny pup once he builds that trust in you. He smiles, like actually smiles and does this funny little hop when he gets excited. He will bark when he needs the toilet and will totally mess with your head by hiding one of your shoes and your car keys if he gets the chance! Lando MUST live with another dog, he does not like being alone but can be left at home with another dog for a couple/few hours. Lando sleeps through the night and loves nothing more than being snuggled on the bed.
I can not praise Lando enough for how far he has come and what a totally different
dog he is compared to when he first got here. Lando loves pleasing and will work hard to do so. He is food driven, LOVES cheese, cocktail sausages, meat balls and custard cream biscuits .
Lando will need a patient owner and someone who will take the time to get to learn and understand his needs, strengths and weaknesses.
Unfortunately I cannot keep him and it tears me apart! Life has thrown an opportunity at my child that I cannot turn down and this has resulted me in having to rehome not only Lando but another one of my dogs too! Please don’t hesitate to message me if you have any questions about Lando, I’ll be more than happy to answer them!”
Thank you to the current owner for this lovely & thorough write up
In the words of the welfare-
Lando in three sentences
A sensitive soul who was originally abandoned in a kindergarten with his mum & siblings & never reacted once even though no-one was kind. Testimony to Lando’s nature is that he started off submissive & gentle when all the world was against him & has developed into a cheeky confident lad. With the right home he will continue the journey he so bravely embraced now this one has ended for him. Lando’s details

It’s easy really - he just needs love.
To be approached with the same empathy & expectation as you would give a child in need.
By the way
Lando’s sister ‘Hera’ is also a second chance adoption like her brother through no fault of her own. Two unlucky souls- wouldn’t it be wonderful if they were reunited in the U.K. & took strength & comfort from their reunion?
Hera is in Devon & Lando is in Cornwall- it feels like fate so please consider this. A joint bio will also be posted.
Please note:
It is my responsibility to protect & help not just the second chance adoptions but also the dogs still waiting & those adopted. Therefore I am obliged to add this:- your family should be a priority which is why you move with your pets as they are family members. This would exclude extenuating circumstances such as a family death for example. There are landlords nationwide listed on the internet that will take you & all your animals- so if you adopt from break the chains and move you move with your dogs. If people from a war-torn country can do it with no warning we can and I cannot risk a rehoming post setting a precedence that deters from this. Thank you for your understanding.
Minimal transport / donation costs & home visit applies.
