Max is needing a new foster home due to his foster family not being able to keep him much longer, we haven’t had any success finding a adoptive home for max and we really don’t want to have to use kennels… so if you can help max for us please contact us even if it’s temporary until we have a more suitable placement.

Location: Nottingham
• I am a large sized male crossbreed from Romania and I am approximately 9 months old.
• I am a very happy, playful and affectionate boy and I love lots of cuddles.
• I am a typical puppy with lots of energy who loves to play.
• I could live as an only dog if someone is around a lot of the time but I must be socialised with other dogs on a regular basis.
• I could live with another young, playful female doggy friend to help me with my confidence, to learn from and to play with.
• I am nervous around people and dogs when I first meet them whilst out walking and with visitors to the house but my confidence is improving all the time.
• I would love a calm home where someone is around a lot of the time and any time left alone would need to be built up gradually.
• I sit down calmly while my foster mum places my harness on me.
• I travel well in a car in a harness and seatbelt.
• I am inquisitive and enjoy new sights and smells.
• I can be a little nervous of loud noises and fast movements in the house and outside.
• I can be nervous of busy areas with lots of traffic but I’m gaining confidence all the time.
• I would benefit from lots of socialisation with other dogs on walks to help increase my confidence.
• I sleep well through the night in a dog bed in the dining room.
• My house training is improving all the time but I may need some help with this in a new home.
• I really enjoy my food and I can be fed in the same room with other dogs as I am not food aggressive.
• As I am still only young I would benefit from dog training classes.
• I need to learn some manners and I need firm boundaries.
• I am a very clever boy. I learn quickly and will do anything for a tasty treat.
• As I am quite boisterous and clumsy at times I can live with dog savvy children aged 14+ who will also respect my space.
• I have not been around cats and therefore I’m not cat tested.
• I am microchipped, spayed and neutered.
• I am 4DX snap tested with negative results, have had my rabies vaccination and have had a blood test for Brucella Canis at the APHA Lab in the UK which was negative.
• My adoption donation is £450.
