Meet Fang, a stunning, intelligent male tegu who’s been part of our family for around 3 years. We estimate him to be around 6 years old, though his exact age isn’t known.
Fang is full of personality and charm. He’s target trained and very food motivated. He’s also clean in his habits and prefers not to go to the toilet in his enclosure. Instead, he comes out daily to use the shower or designated area, even climbing stairs himself to get there.
He currently lives in a custom-built 8ft x 4ft enclosure, which unfortunately cannot be moved – so you’ll need to have a setup of at least that size ready for him. UVB, heat lamp, and some décor, as well as frozen food can be included with him if needed.
Fang is best suited to a calm, experienced home. He’s not used to loud or busy environments and would likely not do well in a household with young children. His next home must be one where he’ll be given the time, space, and attention he deserves.
I’m in no rush to rehome him – finding the right person is what matters most. Proof of a suitable setup will be required before the sale.
