Sweet Blake spent years in a shelter before finally getting his second chance. Despite his tough past, he’s incredibly loving and soaks up affection — he’ll roll right over for a belly rub with a big smile on his face. 💛
Blake has arthritis in his spine, so while he walks well on a lead, he much prefers to potter around the garden and relax in the sunshine. He’s on pain relief to keep him comfortable and is doing really well.
He wears a belly band indoors as he can sometimes drip a little urine after he finishes weeing — it’s not full incontinence, and he always goes outside to toilet. The belly band just catches the occasional post-wee dribble, and typically only needs changing every 2–3 days. It’s a simple solution that keeps him comfy and clean at home.
Blake would love a quiet, calm home where he can enjoy his golden years. He’d prefer no other dogs or young children, just a gentle environment and someone who understands what a ****** older dogs truly are.
