Description
‼️ INDOOR HOME ‼️
Xena is a stunning ginger and white girl, aged 18-24 months. She came into us with her kittens, who have now been rehomed. Xena is ready to put her paws up 🐾 in her own space.
Xena was a bit shy when she first came to us but has since blossomed into a gentle, affectionate and very playful girl.
She is quite dainty, except when she decides it's playtime and charges up and down like a heffalump! 😅 Her favourite toy is a telescopic wand, with bells and feathers on the end and even if she's asleep, she will come running if she hears it being picked up. 😻. When Xena has had enough of playing, she likes to snuggle up on her fosterer’s lap or she will climb up to be cradled like a baby ❣️
Xena is fine using her litter tray. She also has a good appetite BUT she does have a sensitive tummy, due to having giardia (a parasite which causes diarrhoea) when she first came into our care. She was successfully treated but kept getting reinfected from the kittens 🙀. She is now totally clear of this and it is not a physical problem for her, requiring veterinary intervention. She does, however, need to be kept to a strict diet of one pouch of wet food a day, with kibble available throughout (details of this will be provided). Also, no treats please, otherwise there will be consequences! 💨💨
Xena is not particularly adventurous or inquisitive, so may be able to be homed as an INDOOR cat as long as she has plenty of space and enrichment available.
Xena does like to go to her humans though, rather than the other way round. She would be best in a quiet, pet-free home, with someone around for most of the time. Any children in a home would need to be aged 12-years+
Xena’s fosterers think she's a proper little sweetheart , who will make her adopters a truly lovely companion.
Xena is in foster in Skelmersdale and has been neutered chipped, parasite treated and is fully vaccinated. If interested in adopting her, please call us on ************ and leave a voicemail. Adoption fee and vetting applies.
