Busters owner had sadly passed away some months ago, he has since been with me, my two young children and 2 bulldogs for the past 4 months which was his owners wish which he is really happy in but one of my dogs really doesn’t get along with him and after months of trying it isn’t working and it isn’t fair on either of them. He is a 7 year old Dogue De Bordeaux who is looking for his final forever home. He loves a walk, he’s older so is looking for a quiet, preferably no children (although he is great with mine, he has known mine for years), no dog home so he can have all the attention he so desperately should have. He likes alone time, he can be nervous especially after being with his owner when he sadly passed. He is cautious around men. He is great with female dogs and children from what we have witnessed but ideally I believe he needs a no children and no dog home with a couple or single person who can be with him throughout the day.
- he is fully house trained.
- sleeps a lot
- he has lost hair due to previous stress but it’s slowly coming back but that doesn’t make him any less beautiful
- he can be a fussy eater but we’ve found a food he loves
- can be nervous of other dogs and people
- very slobbery but that’s half the fun
- once he gets to know you he turns into a massive puppy and jumps and plays
- loves toys and treats
- he likes small walks as he is getting older now
- loves being close to you for cuddles once he trusts you
- he is KC registered from what the vets have knowledge of
- all vet history given
Previous breed experience would be preferable. He’s just a big goofball once you get to know him :)
I really want to get to know who he is going to, to make sure he goes to the right person because he deserves the best after all he has been through to make sure he gets his happy ever after home!
