CHYNA IS IN THE CARE OF LURCHER LINK RESCUE
CHYNA, beautiful blue female 8-year-old bull-lurcher, STILL looking for her forever home.
Chyna first arrived at Lurcher Link Rescue as an unclaimed stray 5 YEARS ago. Chyna has been incredibly unlucky; she was rehomed but returned after a year through no fault of her own, and now she struggles to get any interest. She doesn't have any major behavioural problems, but she is large, strong and boisterous, which puts most people off, (as does her age; sadly most people want a younger dog).
Chyna is approximately 8 years old and 24" to the shoulder. She is a chunky girl and weighs about 28kg.
Brilliant with people, very obedient.
Happy to be crated, very quiet in the house, not destructive when left.
House trained
Walks beautifully on the lead most of the time, but VERY strong and powerful if she decides to pull. She will need to be muzzled if walked in busy urban areas (where there might be lots of cats, small dogs, squirrels etc) as she has a strong prey drive.
Best rehomed in a more quiet rural or semi-rural location.
Can be a bit prickly with other dogs if they are too forward or rude.
Not suitable to live with cats
Best rehomed as an only dog
Not suitable to live with children or the frail elderly due to her boisterous strength, she's quite capable of knocking them over while jumping up with excitement. Chyna does have giddy moments in the garden / paddock when the best response is to keep out of the way as you know it if she runs into you!
