Hi everyone, this breaks my heart in so many different ways to post this advert but I am looking to re-home my beautiful boy.
This is Pebbles, he is almost 3 years old and he is a mix french lop. We have had a change of circumstances in February and Pebbles had to change rooms in the home and he hasn’t adjusted to it, although the room he is now in is big enough for him, it isn’t as big as he had before and he has been letting us know about it, unfortunately although we have tried many options, we are out of options and space for any other set up for him but that room. He deserves to be happy, he is most important and it pains me to say all of this but it is unfair to keep him with us any longer for his sake.
I strongly have a preference for him to be re-homed with somebody that has quite a bit of experience with Rabbits and preferably someone who has a Rabbit/Rabbits he could bond with as we had an unsuccessful bond that was due to the other Rabbit not responding well to Pebbles but I’d still like him to have that as I think that’s definitely what he needs but I understand it’s not always possible!
This will not be a quick process for him to be re-homed in the sense of I need somebody that is willing to give a lot of information about themselves, where pebbles will stay and how he will be looked after etc as I really want to make sure he’s going to the right person, so if you are this will not be a big ask!
A bit more about Pebbles - he loves destroying cardboard boxes, tossing his pots about, jumping on and off things then boinking away even higher or grooming me waiting for a stroke! He also loves to have someone to lay next to and if you have a treat on offer you will be his best friend. We still have times with him doing all of these but I hope he can get truly get back to his fun self with a new home and someone that loves him just as much as I do.
He will come with all of his set up - including a hide, digging box, tunnels etc plus whatever food, hay, litter, treats and forage we have left when the time comes.
