Description

Meet Percy, the three month old shorthair mix. He’s a delightful little chap with all the energy of a million kittens put into one! Let’s start with why we’re rehoming. We currently already have two cats, Persians, and for anyone familiar with the breed, they are essentially sentient cushions that have all the get up and go of a sedated snail. Now, Percy being as he is, in a constant lucozade fuelled energy frenzy, there’s been a bit of tension in the house. He doesn’t hurt them, bite etc but he wants to play and they don’t, there’s been some hissing and swatting. Now, if you happen to already have another cat that has a bit more liveliness to it, or even a kitten, I’m sure he’d love it. Percy has been neutered, he’s never missed the litter box, he’s been chipped and wormed. He’s never been outside, I’d prefer it to stay that way unless you live somewhere very rural as he has all the common sense of peanut and I can’t imagine this will change. He’s a real lovebug, he loves a snuggle under the duvet, on the sofa, or just anywhere you’ll let him really. Now, don’t be alarmed when you hear him purr, it is akin to a 2 litre turbo charged vehicle and has always been this way. When we took him for neutering they actually couldn’t hear his heartbeat as his purring was so loud. Percy’s never been around children but his temperament with new people allows me to believe he’d be absolutely fine with them. If you think you could offer Percy his forever home please message me, he deserves the whole world and more and I want to find the right people for him. Ps. Yes, they are thumbs, they’ve been checked by a vet. He’s okay, just a bit funky. Like a rare Pokémon.
