Description

It’s with an incredibly heavy heart that I’m offering my beloved boy, Phoenix, for sale. Due to ongoing back issues, I’m no longer able to give him the time and attention he truly deserves. Phoenix has been the first pony I’ve backed myself, and he made the entire experience an absolute dream. He’s been nothing short of a joy from day one. At just five years old, this stunning stallion is a complete angel. Yes, he’s vocal like a typical stallion and will happily let everyone know he’s around, but he’s never silly or strong. In the stable, he’s like a big, cuddly puppy. Catch him lying down and all he’ll want is a snuggle. He’s been out to a handful of local shows and never comes home without a ribbon. The moment he steps into the ring, he becomes calm, focused, and completely unfazed by mares, geldings, or even other stallions. He thrives under the spotlight and absolutely knows when all eyes are on him! Under saddle, he’s still green, having only been backed for a year and not had much mileage yet. He spent a couple of weeks with a trainer while I had exams, and they absolutely adored him. That said, Phoenix is not a novice ride. He takes confidence from his rider and is still learning. He can be a little spooky at times, as you’d expect from a young horse who hasn’t seen much of the world yet, but he’s always willing to take a second look and carry on. In the right home, Phoenix has all the potential to shine in any direction. He’s got the movement, presence, and personality for the show ring or working hunter classes. And yes, don’t be fooled by that mane, he can see just fine through it! You’ll just need to get used to his cheeky little hair flicks. A 5⭐️ home is an absolutely necessity for my boy so I am open to sensible offers
