Description

Milo is one of our most special rescues. He’s a sweet, quiet, and gentle soul with a deep love for human companionship and comfort. Around 4-5 years old, he’s the kind of cat who forms a strong bond with his human, preferring to snuggle beside you on the sofa or nap near your scent when you’re away (see video- he loves to give head butts)! Though Milo may be shy at first, especially due to a history of maltreatment, with patience and kindness he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. He greets you with a warm cuddle on the chair and even snuggles into your neck when it’s breakfast time—his own adorable way of saying “feed me!” Milo is fairly low energy but enjoys low-key play with catnip toys and wand toys, though he’s still learning to fully relax and enjoy playtime. He’s cautious around loud or fast-moving toys but is becoming braver every day. Milo is fully house-trained and very clean. He uses his litter tray reliably and even lets you know (with a loud meow!) when it needs scooping. He eats both wet and dry food, enjoys variety, and drinks happily from his fountain. Milo would thrive in a calm, quiet home - ideally indoors only with someone who has some previous cat experience and respects his boundaries and understands his gentle nature. In return, he’ll offer the sweetest companionship—always nearby, always quietly present, and always ready to snuggle. Medically, he’s in good health and recent bloods showed good markers for everything. When he was first rescued, he had to have eyelid surgery for inverted eyelids (entropian). He has recovered well but one of his eyes weeps a bit but doesn’t seem to bother him. He’s an older cat who had a very rough start in life so will need a careful owner with some experience and understanding that he will need vet visits from time to time to make sure he stays in good health. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal friend who needs and wants to be cared for Milo may be the perfect match for you. 🐾 Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and vet-checked 🐾 Indoor-only 🐾 Best as a solo cat in quiet home
