Description

This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make but I have to rehome my beloved Nala. I have had her since she was born - I owned her mother and kept her after a litter. As much as I love her I feel I’m being more cruel than kind by keeping her. She deserves much better life than I have been able to give her. Nala is extremely reactive to the point I can no longer walk her. And as a result of that she is slightly over weight. She is reactive to anything and everything and as much as I’ve tried to work with her, due to being unable to walk her anymore I’ve made very little progress with it. She is the most loving dog I’ve ever had, and she is an absolute angel around my 3 children but she has no boundaries. She will force her way for love regardless of whether you want her to or not. She knows basic commands, she is clean in the home and she can be left for reasonable amounts of time (generally about 5 hours) She is destructive of beds and toys but we’ve found a plastic bed and changing blankets over seems to work best with her. Anything with foam is shredded instantly. Nala is not for the feint hearted - she needs someone with a lot of time to work with her. I believe she would be suited best to an active family, although she is good with children I think older children would be best due to her strength. I’m happy to answer any questions regarding her and also to make sure you will be the right fit for her.
