Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are looking to re-home our almost 6 year old female cat Luna. She is a healthy, happy, laid back cat who loves being outside and also loves coming in for naps and attention. She is very fond of her food (easy to please just with whiskers biscuits) and enjoys a scratch post. She is used to being an outdoor cat and although she has a litter box she usually toilets outside. Luna has been brought up around children and enjoys attention but she is also quite happy doing her own thing.. if it's loud she will take herself away until it's a calm environment. Like most cats she will tell you when she wants attention/food with all the purrs. She can be a little bit shy at first with new people but soon finds her feet! Luna has been raised around dogs which until recently has been great....
The reason for rehoming is that one of the dogs is no longer accepting of Luna and we are now having to keep them living separate, since this event Luna is afraid to come in the house and she is living only upstairs but is on edge or she is staying outside... this is not fair on her as she previously loved to roam the house as she pleased and be around everyone.. she is not getting the attention or environment that she needs and it is not her fault. She has never been in a home with other cats before so I am unable to say if this would be ok.
Luna has been spayed, she has a microchip, she has regular flea and worming treatment and is healthy. She is not demanding she just needs a calm, safe, loving environment to live in. We are not looking for money for Luna just a good home for her to settle into.
