Description

Male German Corso 11 Month Old Mum - German Shepherd Dad - Cane Corso Heartbreaking rehome as he is a lovely dog, he’s been with us since 8 weeks old - He’s microchipped, Fully vaccinated and flead/wormed to date. He is fully intact as vet recommended not to castrate until approximately 18 months old due to the breed. He has been brought up around children and cats however I would recommend he is homed to a house with No Children or Other animals! He can be a little unpredictable and wouldn’t want to risk anything. He’s always been great with other dogs however recently seems a little unsure and can vary as to how he will react - He has NEVER attacked or bitten! He can just get quite vocal and jumpy! His recall definitely needs some work, he can get so easily distracted and then pretends to be deaf and does his own thing. He definitely loves a good run on fields/beach etc and used to do this brilliantly (paid private dog fields are ideal for him) He walks lovely on a Halti Headcollar type Harness as he is a strong puller. He does have some food aggression and if he has something either he’s not supposed to or a chew treat etc, He will growl and lunge at you if you go near to him - He’s never actually bitten anyone though. He’s a very energetic boy and will jump up, especially to people who enter the house - He can be a bit of a handful hence a house with no children being more suitable for him. He does also tinkle on you when he gets excited and is jumping around - The vets say this is often the case until they reach full maturity. He is great for letting you know if anyone is at the door and he will bark loudly. If he hears any commotion outside can bark then too. He is fully house trained, toilets outside only - and he is crate trained - he sleeps in here overnight as he can be a bugger for finding things he shouldn’t and having a good old chew. Ideally he needs a home with either a single person or a couple with a large garden! He needs someone who has got a lot of time for him as he needs a lot of attention and exercise. He does need a lot more training as he unfortunately was boarded for 2 months due to personal circumstances and just wasn’t the same when he came home. Health reasons have spiralled and is currently causing him to not get the full attention/exercise he needs and it’s unfair on him to not be able to live life like we were doing before.
